Control Southern Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Valve, Mechanical and Automation Services Facility in Jacksonville, Florida

Control Southern is excited to share the Grand Opening of our new Valve, Mechanical and Automation Services Facility in Jacksonville, Florida. We celebrated this milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 26, 2023, as we merged our two existing facilities in the area into one larger, more advanced location. Our new facility has an impressive 61,500 square feet of space and is focused on providing unmatched service and support to our customers in the region and beyond.

Our Grand Opening celebration was attended by key industry leaders, local officials, and customers, who had the opportunity to tour the facility and witness our commitment to innovation and excellence firsthand.

Notable features of our facility:

1. Assembly and Repair Shop: A dedicated 12,500-square-foot assembly and repair shop with state-of-the-art welding and machining capabilities. This area is specially designed to ensure swift and efficient service for industrial valves and mechanical components.
2. Engineering and Training Center: A spacious and modern multipurpose center that provides automation engineering and start-up services for industrial plant control systems, PLC’s, and training for up to 40 attendees. The center includes a hands-on demonstration area, dedicated instructor offices, and a fully functioning kitchen and outdoor patio area, which will serve as a hub for customer educational programs and workshops.
3. Testing Facility: An expansive 1,100-square-foot certified testing facility for all manufacturers of safety relief valves includes cutting-edge air, water, and steam test stands. This facility ensures that all valves meet the highest safety standards before being returned to customers.
